1236202 2011-10-07 20:56:00 I am about to add a graphics card to a computer that only has inbuilt graphics on the mother board. Once the new card is installed, should I disable the on-board video capability? Bryan (147)
1236203 2011-10-07 21:00:00 Depending on how old it is, the onboard may get disabled, once you install the new one Speedy Gonzales (78)
1236204 2011-10-07 22:05:00 Make sure its a fairly new graphics card.

Some of the older ones (mine) don't support Direct X 10)

I'd also set a System restore point before I installed the new card.
