1209499 2011-06-22 20:58:00 Sign language is an offical language in NZ, thought I might try that instead of Te Maori, but the computer didnt respond when I tried, I'll just stick to Engrish and keyboard. :D

Does that work with a Wii or a Kinect?

Umm if somebody is in hospital, how are they supposed to drive to say "Sorry I can't be here".

Fail logic. I swear that to work in parliament it should be mandatory you have at least a 2-digit IQ.

That, and Ka Hikitia panders enough to them as it is. All they're doing is increasing the racial divide. If the whanau of a child want to be involved, they will be involved. If that's how they 'culturally' learn, with the involvement of their whanau and things, then the parents of a child should know "Oh I need to be involved", and not be *told* by school policies.

Bringing that reasoning and line of thinking into schools / high schools is a bad idea...

1209501 2011-06-22 22:05:00 They want NECA given to all as of right, even with bad attendance, not doing homework disrupting the class. prefect (6291)

1209504 2011-06-22 23:32:00 I note Hone wants the benefit to equal the minimum hourly wage and wants those on the dole to work for it. I don't think that policy will be popular in the North. :) Snorkbox (15764)
1209505 2011-06-23 01:06:00 Oh? Have a link for that? :D

Why make life more comfortable for people who don't have a job and are relying on free handouts? Make it uncomfortable for them so they'll go find work ...

Unsure about raising the benefit (Or at least, to that degree), but working for it is a marvellous idea!

1209508 2011-06-23 04:09:00 The bro's will get their crops cultivated for nix, the far north unemployed are already well experienced and will be paid more for doing it. :D

The benifit was designed to survive on while inbetween jobs, not to live on and not bother getting a job. You can survive on it quite well with a bit of bugeting, I dont think it should be raised without a good reason.
