| 1236302 | 2011-10-10 05:34:00 | Just downloaded the 32bit ISO and made the CD, it works fine. Downloaded the file, extracted the ISO, then using imageburn - Write Image File to Disk - located ISO, burned - booted Ok from a workshop PC. Being a Laptop, sometimes simply changing the boot order in the BIOS doesn't work. (had that happen countless times) Try this, put the CD you made in the Drive and reboot it, look along the bottom of the screen- sometimes there will be a message flash quickly at the first visible writing saying press F?? for boot menu -- it flashes fast so you may have to do it a couple of times to read the key number if its there, if it does have that option, you have to be quick, if you miss the time to open you have to reboot and try again ---- the normal keys are either F5 or F12. If the boot menu is visible, arrow down to CD/DVD drive - select that and then it should boot from the CD. |
