1235767 2011-10-07 02:57:00 Sometimes lines across screen, sometimes perfectly clear. Also on Windows 7 startup usually the spinning icon animation for booting up windows (the three spinning circles) looks fine. From login screen onwards it's usually garbled and/or low res with bad colours. CaptainVincent (76)
1235768 2011-10-07 03:01:00 Just check its not overheating. There's a very good chance of that. Pull the heatsink and everything off even if you're game enough (Lets be honest it's as good as dead as-is, so what do you have to lose?) and then use a can of compressed air to blow out the heatsink / fan :) Chilling_Silence (9)
1235769 2011-10-07 04:23:00 Does it do the same if you boot from a Linux live CD?
If it doesn't it may point to a software issue.
If it does... replace the card.

1235770 2011-10-07 08:47:00 I'd check your power supply, check it's not overheating (Speccy should tell you), and *then* replace it :D Chilling_Silence (9)
