I hate it when an arrogant section of the community claims a word as their own. Nothing wrong with "Homo"! We had a discussion on an old time music site a while ago about songs whose lyrics had been re-written because of causing racial offence, or perceived offence, almost no contributor was brave enough to write the word 'nigger' in case of causing offence.
