I like to listen to foreign radio streams (maybe even youse guys Radio NZ station) once in a while . I'm trying to learn a foreign language, and Kiwi qualifies for extra credit at the college level here in the US . Actually ANY English qualifies in Californicate . Is there any place to find a small stand-alone program that lets me play such a stream and it will shut down the whole PC after a preset time? Kinda like a reverse alarm clock . Subliminal education, here I come! |

| 1236543 | 2011-10-10 06:37:00 | You can do it with windows out of the box, just use the shutdown command with a -t switch and put what ever time (mind you it's in seconds) If you go start/run and type in shutdown /? it will show you how to use it. you would do something like a shutdown -f -s -t 10000 |

Probably need a script, custom player, or signing up to a service or something.
