| 1210045 | 2011-06-17 05:53:00 | Anyone know what the current procedure is after getting off the plane? I have maps of terminals and such, yet have had reports i get shown to a transit lounge. New to this, and what do i need to do to take a laptop with me? Must i declare everything on the drive or is it just a scan thru xray? Cheers |

Cheers Yes, you will be directed into the transit lounge,(which sucks by the way) If your laptop is part of your "cabin" luggage, you may or may not be asked to boot it up to prove it is not a bomb. Your cabin baggage will also be scanned and you personally may have to go through the scanner. Just a note, be extremely careful using the toilets, wash hands thoroughly and don't get drinks from the dispenser, get drinks that are in sealed bottles! Unless you want a dose of gut troubles. (speaking from personal experience). LL |
