That's nice. 4 years. We can all relax now, right? Errr No - What it means is its only been recently discovered and the effected systems listed. Bit like ANY patch for ANY OS, there will be vulnerability's / problems that are not known till discovered. Here's a good example of not knowing a problem, had 4 calls over the last week, people have upgraded their older Linux systems to the latest - ALL the exact same problem - Black screen on reboot- graphics are the cause - so why if the problem was known wasn't it fixed first ?? |
