Watched the linked video just before going out -- The last couple of minutes really sums it all up. Mainly at 7.22 ;) |

I should have checked QVL for the G Skill Flare X 2933Mhz Ram to see if the Asus B450M-A Motherboard was on it. I didn't, because when I bought the Ryzen 5 2400G and the RAM I already had a motherboard I had purchased a year plus earlier when I was intending on buying the Ryzen 2700 or the 2600 and posted here asking is the $200 price difference really worth it for the 2 extra cores and 4 Threads that the 2700 has over the 2600. I settled on the 2400G because I didn't want to have to buy an Independent GPU. And to be honest, the AMD Quad I had earlier did all I wanted it to do. But alas, the Gigabyte AB350M-D3H I had would not run 2nd gen Ryzens! So I then bought the Asus 450M-A I now use. Course I could have bought the Kingston Fury X Ram that auto clocks for the fastest available Memory speed available on the Mobo. Hmmmm. maybe it would have run the 2933Mhz I paid for. Maybe. I settle for the 2400 I have now and be happy with it. Here is the review I watched prior ro buying the Ryzen 5 2400G and the GSkill Flare x.
