| 1462155 | 2019-07-06 05:42:00 | I tried something else first and got the game to play so I am happy as pig in muck. I uninstalled the game using Revo Uninstaller Pro v4 and reinstalled the game. First click on the Desktop DX12 shortcut and I'm in like the robbers dog :D 1 minute uninstall and an hour install to M.2 NVMe seems a bit long, even if it is the Sniper Elite Deluxe version that has all the DLC games. It is 67.2GB installed size. Big game really. Installation also instals DX files (all pre DX 11 and DX 12 and Vis C++ 2010/2012 and 2015 both x86 and x64) Wonder if it had anything to do with my installing AMD Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.6.3 that I got from using the add the hardware and submit for a driver. I had chosen the driver for the Ryzen 2nd gen when in fact I was looking for a driver for the Radeon RX580 Nitro+ GPU that is installed but has no driver. Reason being I wanted to see if the now gone install of the Sniper Elite 4 would play in the Samsung Plasma TV via HDMI. Well I never got a driver for it and it is still unusable. The download size of the Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.6.3 was 366MB and it installed but is nowhere in sight. The only display adapter is the Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics and that is only about 50MB...so shrug on that one. So. It's time to start the game from scratch and see how long it lasts :D Thanks for your comments and suggestions. |
