6-12 Monthly build updates, at 3Gb each, can be a nightmare for home users with slow internet .

Also , 'telemetry ' bothers me. Everything wants to monitor what we are doing and send data back to the motherload .
What happens: the company gets caught collecting & selling data when it shouldnt. Every time they answer with , sorry that was just a honest mistake.
We just allow it instead of standing our ground and saying: no more.
Honestly , give an inch & they'll take a mile .

Add to that , forced bundling of Crap with Windowsupdates.
Pay extra for the Pro version of Win, intended for corporate use. Regardless of paying extra for the Pro version, MS force install of GAMES & other crapware on company PC's , bundled with updates .
Just why does a Company PC need Xbox apps , that cant be removed ?

Not all that long ago , this sort of behavior was considered spyware & adware , we would take the effort to remove it . And hurl abuse at programs that bundled it in.

Trump should go after Microsoft rather than Huawei.

1461650 2019-06-20 10:26:00 Today I tried to re-install W10 on my Dell laptop out of curiosity over W10 version 1903. I had hardly started the install when it wanted to go online, with previous versions you could skip this. Eventually I put it online. It then asked me for my email address, so I humored it. Then it wanted the password for the email address! Why should I give them the password. It did not ask for my Microsoft account details, just as well as I don't have one. At this point I gave up. Installed Mint, as usual no problems. mzee (3324)
