1461591 2019-06-19 00:50:00 Links to Minidumps not working. :(

If you want to re-upload or even post on firefoxs upload site.

The non sign in version only allows 1 upload /download expires after 1 day. If you sign in (its free) you can change the amounts.

HINT: reading the debugging logs looks all gobbledegook at first :D

A simple less informative program is bluescreenview nirsoft.net Download links near the bottom of the page.

Some of Nirsofts software - Nod32 has a **** fit saying its infections, its not, its just how the programs work.

I will look into the BSOD link you sent. Thanks.
yeah, I don't read or write the hieroglyphs I got onscreen when I used Notepad to open the first one....... looks like Middle East secret encryption :D

1461593 2019-06-19 05:01:00 All 3 dmp files show the same probable cause, which is dxgkrnl.sys (DirectX Graphics Kernel)

Have a work through these. dxgkrnl-sys-blue-screen-death-error (www.thewindowsclub.com)

wainuitech........ hi. I had a quick read of the link you supplied and it's most interesting so will have a deeper read and look into getting the dxgkrnl.sys repaired or renewed. Yesterday I performed a C:\WINDOWS
system32>DISM /Online / Cleanup-Image/RestoreHealth in Command Prompt... it completed in 1 minute and didn't show any errors and /or corrections necessary. As it is Online Cleanup Image and RestoreHealth then it probably does any necessary repairs and doesn't reveal them onscreen at end of the process. I will run the commands again and do the added sequence of steps this time.

That Sniper Elite 4 Computer Game is very heavy multimedia application such as 3D games and HD videos. But the HW I have is above the Minimum Specs needed for it to play. apart from the facts that it says 68 FPS, and I am getting 32 FPS from the Ryzen 5 2400G.
Anyway, that is something not quite what the thread is about.
Ok back to getting into the dxgkrnl.sys repair.

I am thinking about uninstalling all Graphics drivers using that DDU app you recommended to me a few months ago when I was having video graphics problems. If I do that I will download and instal the latest from the hardware manufacturers..... this could get a bit serious because as I haven't installed any BIOS Upgrade and/or Chipset Driver update/renew the out of date BIOS and Chipset and graphics drivers could be contributing to the present issues. But first, I start with the dxgkrnl.sys.

Cheers

Oki doki...I have performed a few tests and searches and here are the results. I have uploaded them as an SFX WinRar because it is easier than you downloading a nu,ber of files separately. I couldn't perform a Stress test using the Free version of the UNIGINE 2 Benchmarks app. The results are a considerable bit less in the FPS than were shown using NOVABENCH app.
Here is the link to my MediaFire Storage. I scanned all the files in ESET Internet Security before I packed them and sent to MediaFire.

www.mediafire.com

Here are some of the results I had while doing the suggested find and fix dxgkrnl.sys file............ it shows in System 32 and is 3.5MB in size, it is stated as being of size from 2.4MB to 700bytes
"The original dxgkrnl.sys is an important part of Windows and rarely causes problems. Dxgkrnl.sys is located in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers folder. Known file sizes on Windows 10/8/7/XP are 730,856 bytes (33% of all occurrences), 2,366,368 bytes or 730,344 bytes. www.file.net "

dxgkrnl.sys Search returns "No results found" but the file exists in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers folder.
All 4 sequential Commands for DISM came back clean, no corruption in Store.
DXDiag showed no errors at all, but I went and 'updated' the installed DX using the The Microsoft DirectX® End-User Runtime but a read elsewhere says that the latest version of Windows 10 and Server 2016 Technical Preview
DirectX 11.3 and 12 are included with these Windows versions. And they only come with Windows Updates and I have checked for updates and have none on offer.
I have DX 12 available and play Sniper Elite using the DX 12 option, so I must be up to date.
SFC /Scannow came back clean.

1461598 2019-06-21 01:16:00 Caused myself a serious headache last night. When I had used an update from ATI Radeon to remove installed drivers and replace with Win10-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-2019-Edition-19.3.3-Mar20 i had downloaded when it popped up from AMD a month or two ago. Radeon Settings was informing me that they were not correct for the device I had installed. I thought that which I had installed was for the RX 580 Sapphire card. Anyway I will out them today and not use at all till I use the RX 580 when I get a 144Hz monitor.
I had also installed AMD OVERDRIVE a day or two ago, I thought it was a BenchTest app as it had said and I could Stress Test the Ryzen 5 2400G I am running. Computer hadn't been turned off for a few days and when I did a restart I got BSOD, repeating..STOP CODE:SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION.......AODDRIVER2.SYS
Wondering what the heck had caused the problem, the ATI Driver instal or what? Computer would boot and go to the Login screen but it was totally Orange, would show the Login Pin for 1.5 seconds and then BS. Repeatedly.
I couldn't get Safe Mode to open, that says a lot about W10 will auto open to Safe Mode after 3 consecutive failures to Boot normally! Tried Knoppox v7.7.1, Easeus Partition Master WinPE bootable disc, GParted. Only Knoppix opened up from Booting and I am Alien to using it. Oh, Easeus WinPE did open from boot but the damn thing only showed the D Drive and had named it C Drive, 500GB (Close enough) No show of the 250GB M.2 NVMe or two connected external HDD's...and I couldn't use Mouse/Kboard to navigate! .....Eventually used W10 v1903 DVD to get into Advanced and try Repair Boot other attempts all failed. Decided System Restore, went back to the pre instal of the ATI Drivers thing and that not fix it so went back to to next restore point which was the installing of AMD Overdrive and got Computer booting to Usable again. A few installed apps were removed as well, but I am Happy with that but the image onscreen where is sign is is very yellow/orange...maybe its changed for Autumn images :D

Once online again I searched out the Stop Codes and was informed that AODDRIVER2,SYS is the AMD Overdrive app and is not compatible for use with Ryzen APU.

windowsreport.com

I then downloaded / installed the NirSoft BlueScreenView v1.55 so I could effortlessly read dump files. Great free app indeed.
I will add the 4 pics showing the results for the 4 latest BSOD's. Interestingly in the reports pics 1 and 3 there is a showing for ntoskrnl.exe... I remember having that a Stop code months ago and had it repaired.
Yep it was a 4 hour scurry and frustration trying to get the PC back to normal ( With a sudden change to Autumnal Golden Brown Log in pics :D ) I could do nothing in BIOS (UEFI) F10 saved nil.... in fact, pressing F8 or F12 wouldn't open the functions they should have.
Anyway, Now I get back to rooting out the causes of the present issues of which the Thread is about

Oh and I add a pic showing Comodo IS Essentials Warning when I went to a relevant web address... I Revo'd Comodo from my System a week or two back when I started using Eset IS . I still have the Dragon Browser from Comodo that I use though. I will have to go back to Revo and do some more removals
I chose to add to Exclusions the Comodo warning for the Eset SSL FILTER CA

Cheers

1461599 2019-06-21 08:52:00 The following will of absolutely no help (you have been warned) :D :p

Looking at all the problems you are having its all graphic related.

Over the years there has been a common trend I've noticed, IF any graphics is almost guaranteed to play up it will be ATI.

Personally I hate them, and ALWAYS cringe when having to upgrade a Computer with ATI drivers its 50/50 as to if they will work OK or not.

What seems to happen is ATI Drivers are always months behind nVidia for newer and latest drivers, when ever MS bring out a newer Upgrade. If you wait a few months ATI might actually put out newer drivers that are compatible and not so troublesome.

While nVidia can sometimes cause problems is FAR less than ATI.

Told ya this post would be on no help :D   (unless you want to try a nvida card).

wainuitech . yep ya told me but I am stuck with ATI because the Ryzen 5 2400G or Ryzen APU the drivers used in them have a clash problem when used with Nvidia Cards and drivers . ATI and Nvidia meant to be working on getting a compromise . . . . sometime in the next millennium no doubt .
I remember you having a rant about ATI a few months back . . . something along the lines of ' if something is going to fup it will be ATI and Radeon drivers and HW . . . not quite exactly those words but a wink's as good as a nod :D

As it stands now the Radeon Sapphire RX580 is driverless . It can stay that way til I buy a 144Hz monitor .

Today I spent a couple hours doing what 1101 suggested . . . I connected up a Sata 2 160GB HDD and installed W10 Pro x64 v 1903 . . . …… . what a difference in Time for install compared to the under 10 minutes when I installed to the Force 300 M . 2 NVMe SSD . . . …………… . . ten times longer . . . an hour . . . …… . . and it takes 3-4-5 mins to get to usable desktop . . . . . where as the M . 2 is open for use in 15 seconds max .
Got it installed, activated and sent it for updates . Got a good few of them, dotnetfx up to 4 . 8, Malicious Software Gizmo, Security Updates, Win Defender update, Vis C++ 2010 (Installed that and a couple earlier Vis C++ when I installed a game, Sniper Elite 3 which wouldn't play because XINPUT1_3 . dll was missing . . . so I Dl'd / installed The Microsoft DirectX® End-User Runtime Web Installer and got all them old DX files needed that do NOT come with W10 . . . DX 11 . 2 and DX 12 do :D That got the Game on the go .
I used Device Manager to update the Display Adapter from the MS Basic VGA to the AMD Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics Driver so I could get out of 1280 x 960 resolution and into the 1680 x 1050 res that my HP Monitor can supply .

I have been using it for a couple hours now . Is running sweet as . . . no AV installed yet . . Using Windows Defender only . Haven't installed anything else apart from that Sniper Elite 3 game .
Haven't had any Freeze ups or BSODs watching youtube music vids . I will keep it with minimal installations . . . as a Test Platform, and as a usable OS in case the one have on the SSD throws a fit and I am in stuck trying to find out what things like "AODDRIVER2 . sys" or any other Stop Code I may get and then being a bit clued up I can go try figure the fix .

That's about it for the day for me .

Thanks for your help
cheers
