| 1237421 | 2011-10-14 02:54:00 | I'm installed the very latest iTunes 64 bit version on my Windows 7 PC, then tried to update my iPhone 3GS to iOS5. The update stalls on backing up the iPhone. It practically locks up my whole computer which is reasonably grunty. I have to ctrl+alt=delete iTunes to take back control. But I've also noticed that even without docking my iPhone, iTunes seems to be practically nonfunctional. When I click on the iTunes store tab, the store hangs halfway through load and if I try to click away to another tab inside iTunes, iTunes becomes totally unresponsive. Anybody know what the problem is and if there's a workaround that doesn't involve swapping to Android? |

| 1237422 | 2011-10-14 02:58:00 | It's quite possibly due to heavy stress/workload on Apple's servers at the moment with people uploading to iCloud and downloading latest iTunes version or updating iPods or iPhones. Took me awhile yesterday (including 1 failed attempt) to update an iPod Touch to ios5. | Chemical Ali (118) | ||
