I looked through the list posted by Metla and all I can see are subjects that should be no higher than a Diploma none of them are worth a degree :stare: Do you resent people who bothered to get an education? I'll admit that I like you was 100 percent ignorant of what a bachelor of the arts actually was, But after mocking a family member who had atained it I was presented with some of the course material and quite frankly it blew me away. I take my hat off to everyone who accomplished what they set out to do at Uni. |

| 1211053 | 2011-06-22 08:52:00 | Why have you not left yet? Where do you get the 40,000 figure from over 12 months to May? 1: All my family is now living and working in Australia (whew) and everything is in order and everyone is happy. My wife and I are tiding up our affairs and were gone too. 2: The 40,000 comes from HERE: (www.stuff.co.nz) [Latest figures show 3300 people left to live in Australia in May, more than the previous record of 2900 set in 1979, when people were also looking for better job opportunities across the Tasman. In the past year, there has been a loss of about 40,000 people to Australia from New Zealand]. I hope that helps. :) |

| 1211054 | 2011-06-22 10:16:00 | The 40,000 over 12 months comes to 3,333 per month on average every month to May assuming 12 months to a year. An article says that 3,300 last month exceeeded the 2,900 which was a record exodus last achieved 32 years ago. Looks like the sums are wrong to me so it does not help really and it's why I questioned the 40,000. 12 X 2900 gives you 34,800! |

Good grief, you really must get onto the Editor of Business Day and complain about such outrageous inaccuracies . That revelation throws a whole different light on the matter . |

"Typically, a third of those leaving for Australia returned within four years, migration experts say . " |
