Grape is the official ingredient - and you've gotta use the cheapest, most worthless white bread for them too. So - the best ingredients for a PBJ are Wonder Bread (you wonder if it IS bread) and Peter Pan smooth peanut butter and Smucker's Grape Jelly, not jam! PS: fruitcake is considered a lethal weapon in the US, and nobody ever eats one, the just re-gift it to another unsuspecting person on their mailing list and get rid of it. I've heard of fruitcakes being over twenty years old and have 2 million frequent flier's miles on them for all their traveling. BUT - nobody ever eats a fruitcake in the US. |
