1211951 2011-06-25 07:48:00 The Lulzsec Ceasefire agreement,

Lulzsec said via twitter that they would cease any further attacks forever... if obama wore a shoe on his head for the duration of his next major public address :D

I think this would technically be extortion rather than blackmail. Or would it?

1211954 2011-06-26 01:12:00 I don't know...

Something like that though I guess

1211955 2011-06-27 00:12:00 Apparently, it seems they've retired?

Their twitter page times out.

Maybe their request of Obama was answered with a certain Navy SEAL team and stealthy roflcopters...

1211958 2011-06-27 03:20:00 Yeah I dunno, some of the final tweets indicated they were only initially planning on doing things for 50 days, but I'm not sure if that's just a nice cover up or not.

Either way, it was entertaining as hell to watch, and it was always a laugh when I found they'd posted a new tweet :p

1211959 2011-06-27 03:28:00 I absolutely think they just got scared. I think a couple of people were closing in on them.

Anyway, I've read some stuff that makes it sound like they were actually doing it to extort money from people, supposed conversations between LulzSec and people they attacked. Could have been a copycat though.

1211960 2011-06-27 03:35:00 They were mimicked several times. Interviews with "them" that weren't with them, they debunked a few imitation "conversations" on their twitter page. Same for poor Ryan Cleary, he just hosts one of the many IRC servers that they use.

I found this interesting though :
