| 1238387 | 2011-10-19 05:20:00 | Hey guys, If you're having issues with NZNet internet being patchy, try different DNS servers. I'm using my own DNS servers, and my internet has never missed a beat. I've had nothing but awesome service from NZNet (they were even reasonably forgiving when I did 1TB last month on their unlimited plan...) |

There is a message on it as follows: Major Internet Outage - Wed 19th Oct - Many connections & VOIP services are down We are working on this urgently and hope to have the problem resolved this morning We apologise for the inconvenience caused |

It was fine for the first 2 months then it went crap, im glad your fine this company doesn't have consistency from what i gather im not the only one experiencing this. Im in process of switching to a new company the time i've spent trying to get it up an running is ridiculous and i really cannot be bothered with them anymore, its not like they are the cheapest ones out there other competitors are providing cheaper services. |

| 1238392 | 2011-10-19 07:04:00 | This is an email from 17 october : Dear Client, Dear Client, We are preparing to implement an improved billing system so are taking this oportunity to send a general update to all clients about this. The first part of this process is now in place which allows all DSL clients to check their data usage online. To do this go to our home page and under 'Customer Login' you will find the link to your data usage. This just requires that you enter your ADSL username and password (without the @nznet.co.nz part) to gain access. This will be further enhanced in coming weeks to also include viewing of your account statement. Accounts will be able to be sent by email and this will be the default from November. Data caps on DSL will now be enforced initially by a speed drop once the cap is reached. We also will be able to offer one-off purchase of additional data as an alternative in situations where you may only require an increase for a special event for example. Also please note a summary of our standard terms of payment for all accounts as follows... - All accounts are billed one month in advance and we require full payment in advance as we have to pay our suppliers & wholesalers in advance also. - All accounts are required to be paid in full within 7-10 days from the 20th of each month. - Accounts unpaid after the due date may be suspended until full payment is recieved and a reconnection fee of $20 will apply before the account is re-activated. We endeavour to provide quality services in a timely manner but it becomes very difficult for us to manage our cashflow when payments are not recieved on time. We expect the 20th October billing will be the last under the current program and the 20th November billing will be from the new system. Kind Regards Stephen Andrews, Director, NZNET Internet Services Ltd (09)914-0058 / 0800-891-380 |
