1211833 2011-06-25 08:37:00 The sample text spelling in SP8's post was so bad that my IE9 spell-checker shrugged it's shoulders and gave up.:clap
Oh, now you've upset the grammar police! "It's" is abbreviation for 'it is' or 'it has' but there is no apostrophe in the possessive pronoun 'its'. Apostrophes have to be kept in their place or they run wild!

I hate the its vs it's situation - both conform to the rules dictating what words are awarded apostrophes, but one of them wasn't good enough for that prestigious honour. Why does there have to be an exception to the rule? I can't think of any context where the only way to determine which meaning was intended is the apostrophe.

I just realised I am using the American dictionary for spellcheck. Must change that.

1211840 2011-06-26 01:37:00 What I mean is that PressF1 isn't full of idiots who can't spell.

Sure, we get some from time to time but they don't last long
