2011-06-25 01:49:00 | Dentists charge just a bit more than most computer technicians. Over $90 an hour. Our Dentist charged $65 for a five minute inspection to see what had to be done, then charged an arm and a leg for the next appointment filling. They seem to vary quite a lot so shop around.

Worst I've faced is near $1k for a root canal and a gold cap, with 50/50 likely success rate... all for a single molar Seems to have worked, as it's been in trouble-free service for many years now. Must add, getting rid of my wisdom teeth was the best thing ever. Only regret is not having them out sooner (might not have needed the root canal and cap if it wasn't for the damed wisdoms creating a jamb. |

2011-06-25 04:24:00 | Regarding sedation: 1) Get your GP to write you a script for midazolam ampoules (Hypnovel) 2) Buy a syringe and a needle from your pharmacy (explain to the pharmacist that you are on a needle exchange program) 3) On that day, pinch your arm and make a small triangular tent. Inject yourself with an appropriate amount of midazolam 4) ??? You save $$$ Next.

2011-06-25 06:37:00 | The following practice is good and reasonably priced (as dentists go ...). They offer the full-monty with IV drugs and I imagine most offer finance these days. You could email or phone to find out. Green Bay Dental (www.greenbaydental.co.nz)

2011-06-25 09:02:00 | 1) Get your GP to write you a script for midazolam ampoules (Hypnovel) Sorry I've been given that. It had all the effect of a jellybean. It needs to be proper IV sedation. Anyway some dentists give you that stuff, you don't need a doctor. The following practice is good and reasonably priced (as dentists go ...). Green Bay Dental (www.greenbaydental.co.nz) Thanks Jen, a recommendation at last, in NZ. I'll check them out.

2011-06-25 22:32:00 | Something about this thread reminds me about this old classic Intensive Care www.youtube.com I've just been beaten-up by a ted, because of our song " Elvis is dead ". He rearranged my teeth though he weren't a dentist, I would have run away but I was a bit pissed.
