Why are lesbians socially excepted (if they're hot) where as a 2 guy relationship isn't? It's cause the media has allowed you to become open minded about Lesbians, yet you still find two guys odd.. Media -1 points. I blame Shortland Street |

Sure, some might say it's not normal but what and who is normal determined by anyway? Sure, only a small group of the world's population is actually gay but doesn't that count for something? :pf1mobmini: |

I vaguely remember in the UK there was a debate about it because Gay people were allowed to "Let one eye meet brown eye" at 16, but hetro couples had to wait till they were 18. I don't have an issue with it, my Great Uncle married his partner of 20 or more years and thats longer than most marriages last. |

| 1212250 | 2011-06-27 07:06:00 | I don't think it follows, that if it is thought as normal it is right. This comes to mind,....In some countries it is normal to stone someone to death for adultery. What is in question is, is it right, not we don't care what people get up too. Granted I don't care in the slightest how justice is handed out in the Middle east, However in one scenario a person is brutally killed by a mob, and in the other two like-minded adults pontially have a happier life and it has zero effect on anybody else..... Is it right to demonise something just for being different? For whats its worth I argued this debate from the anti-gay position on another forum, Lmfao. They needed a dissenting view point. |
