1240284 2011-10-27 08:57:00 I just got a ViewSonic VX2753mh-LED. A 27 inch LED LCD with a 1ms response time.
A review here (www.pcworld.idg.com.au).
One hell of a step up from my old 19 inch Phillips. I think I might grow to really like this one.

Need to get a wireless keyboard and mouse and don't need my magnifying glasses.:D
It is like having two screens and I can't get over how crisp the fonts are.
I'm one very happy chappy.:):)

1240288 2011-10-27 22:29:00 Cool! I've got this model as well (went from a 19 inch Dell) as was VERY impressed by the improvement (the HD6850 vid card would have helped too). Took a bit of getting used to (my games were suddenly in my face)! Dog bless Computer lounge and their sales - haven't seen it cheaper since ($260). Richardd150 (13927)

Do you mean to say you got yours for $260? Are you sure it is the same modal as after I got it I checked on Pricespy and didn't see it for under $500.
One thing I like is with all the extra real estate is now I have on my first desktop Firefox taking up 2/3 vertically and Thunderbird the other 1/3 unless I am doing some serious web surfing and have numerous tabs open when I go maximised. My second desktop which I use for programming I can have all the Lazarus windows open and showing and the same goes for the Gimp and in Linux you can scroll a window without taking the focus off the one you are using.

Oops! It's actually the VX2453mh I've got - I looked it up and the only diff appears to be 24 inch Vs 27 (and the 27 being about double the price). Still, apart from those 3 inches it looks like the tech is the same, and the diff it made to the viewing was great.

The VX2453mh was a bargain when I got it a few months ago. By the way, I should have been blessing Playtech, not Computer Lounge
