| 1240014 | 2011-10-26 04:06:00 | Saving GAOTD Files For A Re-Install Is there away of 'saving' the programmes that I have installed from 'Give Away Of The Day'. There are several that I would like to 'transfer' to a fresh installation of my Windows 7 (64 bit).Thanks in advance. ruup |

| 1240015 | 2011-10-26 04:29:00 | Some of those programs, maybe hard to reactivate. Since, some have a time limit (from the time you downloaded / installed them). If there are reg files for it on the hdd / in the registry, (and you copy / save whatever), that may fix it. But if there isnt, the program/s may not reactivate. | 1240016 | 2011-10-26 04:34:00 | Have a look at the Download from GAOTD, sometimes theres a readme file, that has a license name and key with it, if you go to the manufactures site and download the (usual) trial, enter in the GAOTD details as per the readme, they generally work. That only works with some of the programs they supply. One for example that does work is paragon software--- If you look closely when its installing, it usually unpacks the real install file to a temp folder -- go into that temp folder, and copy out the file -- Instant install.exe for future use. |
