1239713 2011-10-25 08:48:00 Bought this HP notebook 2 days ago and the very first time I turned ON the machine, it greeted me with this BSOD (h30434.www3.hp.com) (exactly the same problem). Tried a clean reinstall with the same results.

Is this a know issue or just my luck?

What would you recommend, return for a full refund, and get another model/brand or just ask for a replacement of the same model?
