| 1213355 | 2011-06-29 20:45:00 | Well the point is there is absolutely no need to have them in New Zealand. We are blessed with the ability to generate as much Hydro Power as we will ever need. Some new Hydro Stations will be required, but look at the asset their lakes are for recreational purposes. I really can’t understand why anyone would bother with ugly noisy wind farms or any alternative form of generation. Oh well, shortly my electricity will be generated by coal. :D |

Took my kids up to the viewpoint near Palmy, you can stand directly under the blades as it spins. well worth the effort. |
