1212653 2011-06-27 22:27:00 Look at this bunch of politicians (www.nzherald.co.nz) , what are they trying to prove? bk T (215)
1212654 2011-06-27 23:50:00 The more things change, the more they stay the same? Whenu (9358)
1212655 2011-06-28 00:01:00 What do you mean by "What are they trying to prove"? Is that a question about the spending, or about Act and the youth / unemployment rates? Chilling_Silence (9)
1212656 2011-06-28 00:15:00 Ever noticed more road works get done near the end of the financial year? They spend the money so they can apply for a similar amount for the next financial year! Snorkbox (15764)
1212657 2011-06-28 00:27:00 I more liked the whole, they're trying to waste tax payers money.

Why you people ever elected them, I don't even think God knows. (I was too young for the last Election  Not my fault they're there)

Still never am sure about the Youth Wage things. Yes, we get paid less :crying, for being young and inexperienced, I wouldn't try argue for more mind you. Higher wages we get, the more inclined they would be to hire more experienced workers.

I think they should just instate Youth Wages, to increase Youth Employment. Although, at the same time, that would decrease jobs for adults searching, who may need to feed their kids or something.

Both cases have their ups and downs. Either way you could see it as being beneficial lol.. :clap

1212659 2011-06-28 00:56:00 Hey, Hey bk, You're the first person to quote me, what a cool guy :punk

Also, yeah, I'm not voting in the election either, probably not the best thing, considering this is the first election I can legally vote in (In previous years I have just influenced my mis-informed father) but eh.. I don't see the point, in voting for people, who will most likely not do anything they say, and bring the country down further, by making stupid laws, and passing terribly written and flawed laws, in time of national tradegies. :sleep

I think i'll give voting a pass, at least until I find some form of politician I actually feel will go through with everything he says.

bk, you had better vote, Hone gets Te Tau seat will mean 5 Mana party ! so we need more Labour/National preferably one or other with 65% of the seats.

We also need to chuck this stupid voting system we have and go back to FPP.

This will raise a few heckles on here, lol.

Lurking.

1212661 2011-06-28 01:08:00 How about, we all vote "Bill and Ben Party" and see if we can get their entire party into parliament..

Assuming they're:
a) Still running as I heard something happened with one of them a while ago
b) Have more than the two people for seats to fill

Voting seriously for parliament, considering what the politicians have done, just makes me sad.. I couldn't care less anymore, they'll never stick to what they say they'll do anyways..

1212662 2011-06-28 01:16:00 I think most people know why the Bill and Ben party can no longer and never will be the Bill and Ben party again.

As for our current crop of drop kicks, It was the better of two crap choices.
