David does solo stuff and sounds a heck of a lot better, just compare the two on Youtube. Yes I prefer David to Roger. I think Davids voice and guitar playing made Pink Floyd. Even now concerts by David without Roger still sounds like PF where as Rogers don't as Roger has to call in session guitarists to play Davids guitar riffs etc which don't sound the same. :) |

I would walk over coals to go to a Gilmore concert but can't really be bothered going to Auckland to go to Roger's. |

David Gilmour has done more for the band than Rogers did, despite how much I admire him for his song whriting. |
