In the days when the Treaty was signed, Maori were not thought of as "poor maoris" and could stand up for themselves, so if they had wanted a Maori TV Channel they would have put it together themselves . These days the moari activists portray maori as "poor hard done by maoris" who need everything handed to them on a plate and so that is what they receive . They do not need anyone to save Maori TV as there will always be plenty of money around for anything maori . Not the case with European TV . TVNZ 7 needs your support!
