2011-10-27 06:35:00 | DOS 3.3 was a very reliable operating system. I don't ever remember getting (or needing) any service packs or security updates. | coldot (6847) | |
2011-10-27 07:29:00 | Best is Windows 7. Thou I think XP is decent too. Worst - Windows 95 et al .. because it was unstable, hence I switched to Windows 2000 in those days. Windows 2000 decent for me but I found the WIFI not that well compared to XP.

2011-10-27 07:33:00 | A rather pointless discussion I think - depends on who you are, what your skills are, what your needs are and what software you want to run. A bit like a wide open question about which car is best - it depends....!! | johnd (85) | |

2011-10-27 08:29:00 | I believe Windows 7 has an XP mode ... does that suggest anything ... :D ... that some software is too old to run in the newer and better W7? | johnd (85) | |
2011-10-27 09:27:00 | I believe Windows 7 has an XP mode ... does that suggest anything ... :D It suggests that for some reason Microsoft is STILL catering for those using ancient software. :p
