1240219 2011-10-27 05:45:00 Best - the one that does what you need it to do and you are happy with it.
Worst - the one that doesn't do what you need it to do, and you are not happy.

1240220 2011-10-27 06:35:00 DOS 3.3 was a very reliable operating system. I don't ever remember getting (or needing) any service packs or security updates. coldot (6847)
1240221 2011-10-27 07:29:00 Best is Windows 7. Thou I think XP is decent too.
Worst - Windows 95 et al .. because it was unstable, hence I switched to Windows 2000 in those days.

Windows 2000 decent for me but I found the WIFI not that well compared to XP.

1240222 2011-10-27 07:33:00 A rather pointless discussion I think - depends on who you are, what your skills are, what your needs are and what software you want to run. A bit like a wide open question about which car is best - it depends....!! johnd (85)

It suggests that for some reason Microsoft is STILL catering for those using ancient software. :p
