1212771	2011-06-28 01:30:00	I have yet to see anything even remotely decent on TVNZ 7 so personally I won't be sad to see it go. But then I rarely find anything decent or remotely interesting on TV2, TV3 or FOUR. It really depends on what interests you. I have absolutely no interest in the Yank programmes shown on most of those afforementioned channels. You most probably have no interest in TVNZ 7 as it shows no Yank programmes. I did not expect everyone to be a fan of TVNZ 7. Whatever turns you on.	Roscoe (6288)

Because all channels except TVNZ 7 only show American programmes....:illogical And what's with all this rubbish free-to-air / sky tv talk? FTA is not going anywhere. 1212777	2011-06-28 02:47:00	Yeah, free-to-air isn't going anywhere, you just have to get a Freeview box before we make the transition to digital TV late next year. While I don't think TVNZ7 should disappear, I would also argue that Maori TV is also a public broadcaster.	Siobhan Keogh (16063)

It is a public broadcaster as you say, but it is directed at a very small and select audience. TVNZ 7 is for everybody. I realise that the majority of NZers are at a disadvantage as they don't have a treaty with the Crown. The majority of NZers have to get off their arse and do it themselves if they want something. Which is why I started this thread so I could get some support to keep TVNZ 7 on the air otherwise the frequency will be used to propagate more Yank rubbish as they did with TVNZ 6's frequency. Thanks for your comments. I do hope that you have all signed the online petition. Without a treaty we need all the support we can muster.	Roscoe (6288)
