2011-10-25 08:39:00 | In terms of performance?Like watching videos, maybe play a bit of warcraft and left 4 dead 2. Minor gaming. Is the processor really slow? Thinking of getting a laptop Thanks

2011-10-25 18:05:00 | i3 is good, it's the video hardware that's likely to hinder games performance not the processor. Laptops are always a compromise for gaming. | dugimodo (138) | |
2011-10-25 19:22:00 | What dugimodo said, it's not the CPU that matters. For example, if you look in the Windows "Benchmark" (System rating), my current CPU and RAM scores a 5.9, whereas everything else is a 7.2. My GPU is *still* the bottleneck in ALL the games that I play (LOTRO, TF2, DotA). Don't bother looking at the CPU, just the GPU...

2011-10-26 05:57:00 | look here to get an idea of where the i3 your looking at stands: www.cpubenchmark.net As others have already said (for gaming) graphics > cpu.

2011-10-26 06:47:00 | Most of the I3s have low end Nvidia or ATI 1GB dedicated graphics that would be good enough for an older game like Left 4 Dead | Greven (91) | |
