1213461 2011-06-30 00:58:00 I brought an elcheapo one about 12 months ago and i quite like it but it has a few real flaws. Argosy model HV335T

CONS:
1. It doesnt auto select audio, i have to manually chose DTS or other (dumb)
2. it doesnt give any feed back when pushing remote buttons or anything even when playing, would love to have a samll LCd which displays what its playing
3. Network is too slow to watch movies over (??) or transfer files to

PROS:
1. Has internal hard drive
2. Quiet operation

I am looking at up grading to the Asus O!Play HD2 anyone got one of these?
Will it do everything i want? (as in the oposite of my cons)
Anyone got a different make model which might be worth looking at?
Thanks Gobe1

1213462 2011-06-30 02:21:00 I still use a Marrantz single CD player coupled to a Rotel amp connected to a pair of Mission M50 floor speakers. For the money it's damned hard to beat as a sound setup. I also have an old semperon desktop connected to the amp and the TV so I can stream music over my network as well gary67 (56)

That sounds like a power hog, PS3-based setup is probably far worse :P

1213464 2011-06-30 03:14:00 I've got two at home, gone through a couple previously. My favorite, without a doubt, the WDTV Live. Chilling_Silence (9)

Not really I only turn on the device I'm using at the time + the amp. Far better sound quality than any PC speakers
