Every time I start up my computer, I get black bars around the edges, reducing my resolution. When I right click on the desktop and open Catalyst Control Center (I have a Radeon 5870) it automatically reverts back to full screen again. (I think it has something to do with the 'enable GPU scaling' option). I realize that's a very simple fix, but I would still rather not have to do that every time I start up the computer. Any thoughts? My monitor is a 1920x1080 resolution, and that's what I have it set to. |

Try this -- right click the screen, click on Screen resolution ( NOT Catalyst Control Center) reset the resolution to what you want -- Does it now stay put after a reboot ? |
