1215175 2011-07-06 09:36:00 watching this review(of sorts) between the iphone 4 and the galaxy s2 makes me want to get the s2 so bad:D

to me, it is a far superior phone than apple's offering.

better features/implementation of similar features.

far more intuative than the iphone.

and the screen!, makes the iphone look inferior

1215176 2011-07-06 09:39:00 No doubt, the best phone on the market.

I had a look at one, felt a little too big for me.

1215177 2011-07-06 09:43:00 A couple of coworkers have them - as nice as they seem, they do feel a bit "plasticy" for my liking. somebody (208)
1215178 2011-07-06 09:49:00 Had one for the last week and really like it. CliveM (6007)
1215179 2011-07-06 09:55:00 as i've already got an ipod touch, i'd be slightly disappointed with an iphone 4

android is the way to go :)

1215180 2011-07-06 11:01:00 Had a bit of a play with one. They're pretty cool! Speed-wise I noticed no difference with it running 2.3.3 compared with my Galaxy S running 2.3.4 MIUI. Both took the same amount of time to launch the "settings" etc... Angry Birds still takes the same time to load up?! No doubt the GPU etc will be nicer though when future, more graphically taxing games are prevalent.

The HD Video doesn't actually look all too appealing based on this:

Though I must admit the additional 512MB RAM would be a very nice bonus.
Battery life is apparently quite a bit better, and GPS focuses more accurately a lot faster. Those would be my two main reasons for ever upgrading to it from my Galaxy S.

Still, a nice phone :)

1215181 2011-07-06 11:48:00 Mine here is brilliant, running a custom rom based on 2.3.3 which is brilliant. Battery lasts me the whole day easily with screen on 100%, everything turned on (GPS, bluetooth etc), widgets everywhere, music for about 5-6 hours, fair bit of gaming in class and web browsing and a fair bit of texting :D

Camera is amazing, as is the screen.

Running chainfire so I can play Teagra optimized games, only tried it with a few but they look amazing.

Oh, and it's overclocked to 1.5Ghz and I easily get 4000-4300 on Quadrant :)

I would definately reccomend one, although I still may be swayed but the iPhone 5. I doubt it though.

1215182 2011-07-06 12:15:00 Good video, I'd back the S2 as well :p If I was loaded that's, going to get an S hopefully next week ^^ Probably my distaste for overpriced Apple gear factors into not liking Apple products, but I do feel that the S2 is far superior

Also, did anybody notice how awkward he sounded saying "Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread?" Made me laugh :D

1215184 2011-07-06 21:45:00 A colleague has just imported an HTC Desire HD (running on the Vodafone network, so he's not going to get its full potential). But the phone is pretty awesome - although a bit chunkier than the S II. But a better build quality than Samsung - not as plastic feeling...
