| 1214774 | 2011-07-04 12:04:00 | As the title says. Who is the current local government minister? Was Rodney Hide but what has happened since Brash strolled in? |

| 1214775 | 2011-07-04 12:55:00 | Its still Hide. Key will wait a few months and not sir up too much controversy in this matter. I think a fair few people have a sour taste in their mouths after the whole ACT-Brash-thing; no point paying for the coffin if you can get one free in a few months' time. :) |

| 1214778 | 2011-07-04 13:11:00 | I hope, after I vote the Nats and ACT won't be there except in opposition. | Snorkbox (15764) | ||

| 1214782 | 2011-07-04 13:30:00 | OK. Our Council allows a rate rebate for those on a Pension and/or those on low incomes if you own the property. But our Council thought at one time that they could rebate rents on Council flats and Nursing homes but Hide was not wearing it. According to law all I had to do was convince the Council to let those in a like situation to own shares in such an enterprise in which case it would work but the Council would not wear it. Hence rents went up far beyond the CPI as the Council did not get their way. Let the Council have a controlling interest but as long as you owned a $1.00 share then you had an interest. That's the short form. |
