Or maybe you guys just haven't watched as many movies as me. . So you're saying your personal taste carries more weight then other peoples personal taste?:cool: |

| 1214505 | 2011-07-04 04:42:00 | Well I didn't mean to, I really believe if you'd seen Diamond Dog you'd agree it's much worse than any of the previously mentioned movies . I guess I don't always explain myself well, and text doesn't always convey meanings the way I think it will . What I'm trying to get at is it seems like many of the movies listed, while quite possibly not great movies, are better than a lot of movies I've seen . Maybe I'm completely wrong, I just struggle to believe they are the worst ones people have seen . More like a movie someone didn't enjoy that came to mind readily . I've seen a lot of bad movies, and movies that other people love that I didn't enjoy . But "the worst movies you have ever seen" requires some thought for me and these seemed more like "movies you have seen and not enjoyed" if you understand the distinction . I watched Black Swan . I like both lead actors but did not enjoy that movie at all . I wouldn't have mentioned it here though except to explain why not . It's well made, well acted, and has a well considered story . But I found it as dull as watching paint dry . The distinction is to my mind, that although I didn't enjoy it I can appreciate that it's better than a lot of other movies that I have seen - despite being no more enjoyable to me . I would also never reccomend Top Gun to anyone but there are people that love it and, I believe, far far worse movies out there . Just to pick on one example . Sorry for the rant, I get argumentative at times and I feel people generally just answer these things with the first movie that comes to mind and don't really consider the question . |

And while on that 'bent', lets include Brokeback Mountain for spoiling my future enjoyment of every coyboy movie. Anyway, abandoning the gay rant, the last 4 Star Wars movies blowed too. Ohh, and those Brigette Jones movies, and 4 Weddings & a Funeral, and anything with Hugh Grant. And practically every James Bond movie - they seem so incredibly dated and juvenile by today's standards. And the last few American Pies. And the last few Jaws movies. And some of the Mad Max range... see the trend? Most movies that spawned 4 or more sequels should have known when to stop milking the theme. |

| 1214512 | 2011-07-04 09:47:00 | As I remember it this was once voted the worst movie ever but that was some time back now and I haven't looked up the latest listings:- www.imdb.com I actually have a rule when watching movies played on TV. The more stars the critics give them the less I'm likely to watch it as I think it's just entertainment much like a good fictional novel.
