Perhaps I prefer Foxy to Hot? And Homosexual or Lesbian to Gay?

It's all these new words they keep inventing or using old words to describe what we already had words for.

1214355 2011-07-08 23:36:00 Moon (2009)

First film directed by Duncan Jones (aka Zowie Bowie) and telling the story of Sam Brown as he comes to the end of his three year solo stint on a lunar base. His job is to oversea the automated harvesters that send back Helium-3 to generate fusion energy back on earth. Various problems with the communications mean he doesn't have a live feed to earth and his only company is a robot. Needless to say things start to go wrong and we discover all is not as it seems on the base.

The film won the British Independent film award and Duncan Jones has of course gone on to make Source Code in 2011.

Rating four out of five.
