| 1214852 | 2011-07-04 23:29:00 | I currently have a cap of 10 gigabytes with Actrix. This is more than enough for me and I have never gone over the limit. They are talking about ultra-fast broadband with a cap of 1 terabyte (1000 gigabytes). This sounds like business use to me. Those who watch full length movies, use video conferencing, make Internet telephone calls or play games would more than likely be struggling to use 1 terabyte of data. Who knows in ten years time 1 terabyte caps may be the norm.:clap |

| 1214853 | 2011-07-04 23:38:00 | The Government's ultra-fast broadband scheme will lay fibre cables around 75 per cent of New Zealand, providing internet users with speeds of 100 megabits a second before the end of 2019 . By that time it will still be behind the rest of the world . By 2019 everyone else will probably be on a Gigibit per second connections . |

I see requests from people that want some other person to download ISOs and post them out as they have run over their cap etc. Quite happy here with a 10 Gig cap and I rarely go over. If I do it's because I'm downloading updates for others being the helpful soul I am. |

| 1214860 | 2011-07-06 11:03:00 | At the moment I'm paying about $100 per month for phone and 10Gb broadband. If I can get up to 1 tera of data for a similar price then why not? At 100Mbit speeds I'd possibly use my 10 Gig cap in less than a day if I chose to. I'm paying $102 for 40 gb incl. Phone with telecom. :pf1mobmini: |
