So, throw down a review, It can be something you have seen recently or something you viewed in the past but a time frame can shed some light on your opinions. It will be interesting to hear why you love some of the movies you do.

I'll start.

I believe its something of a strong cast though the only one I was familiar with is Forest Whitaker, Its an American remake of a well regarded German movie which was based on a novel with was based on an actual experiment...

I think:(

Anyhow, The movie is a fail, The scenario is an interesting one but the characters and events are never convincing, I expected more from Forest so I'm going to assume he was under tight control of the director. Instead of exposing a mean streak and manipulating those around him he went from laid back Christian to out of control ******* and the rest just followed along.

Could have been much better.

Its worth watching if the concept interests you and you don't actually expect the concept to be explored in anyway:waughh:

Watching movies in Blu-ray is interesting, The people look far more real so to speak but the sets don't, and I think that's due to lighting. The violence takes on a whole new twist in that clarity and was somewhat unsettling.

It only cost $4 so even though its a bit of a stinker it was well worth the cost.

1214328 2011-07-03 04:50:00 Little Miss Sunshine -- ★★★★½

An excellent little film about a family who travels halfway through the USA to take their girl to a beauty pageant. Highly recommended.

Sorry I'm not a very good film reviewer.

Ennio Morricone's haunting music makes this film come alive. The man with no name turned into a whole new genre, it introduced low budget Westerns to the world. Often called spaghetti Westerns due to being made in Europe.

The sequence of events that unfold in the shoot-out at the graveyard are a cinematic classic.

The actors make or break a film, never been a Whitaker fan, the rest ,never heard of them, I would tend not to choose .

Mind you, I probaly miss some good movies using this technique .

Blu-ray

Its impossible for a movie like the A-Team to be a great movie, but it does succeed at being a fun movie. The set pieces worked as a spectacle especially the scenes that revolved around flying.

If you watch it expecting implausible cartoon action, funny quips, giant leaps of faith and plenty of shooting then you can't go wrong.Liam Neesen as expected anchors the entire movie. The rest of the cast make no great impact.

3/5, well worth the $1 paid for rental.

1214332 2011-07-04 00:04:00 Sucker Punch: 6.5/10

Watched: Last week
Quality: 720p

Its the type of movie you will either love or hate - I doubt there will be any middle ground.

The movie isn't to be taken too seriously, ignoring the storyline its a bunch of hot chicks dressed up appropriately to show their hotness fighting through all sorts of ridiculous fight scenes.
Its all fantasy fighting, they have awesome weapons and are fighting everything from WW1 steam powered german soldiers, to dragons, zeppelins etc.

There is a storyline to the movie which is interesting and explains the idea behind the fight scenes, which has a few turns and catches - but I won't go spoiling the movie for anyone. A similar concept to reality as the movie Inception.

If you watch it, don't expect an in-depth storyline and flawless acting or you will be disappointed. Watch it for the visuals, the 'fun factor' and enjoy basically a fantasy dream - hot chicks fighting awesome stuff in crazy ways - the fighting scenes/choreography is done very well.

Personally I loved it - though may have been 'watching under the influence' at the time :D

Yeah I agree.. Like, would've been better, if that was the first A-Team thing you watched, but based on the originals, I think the only reason it was any decent was Liam Neesen :/

Cinema's (First time in ages, yes, actually paid to watch a movie)

The movie follows much along the lines of the rest, great movie, good action, storyline, just a little bit lacking . . Well lacking for the car enthusiasts . .

It was a great movie to watch, the action scenes were total nonstop action, well, apart from the one race I actually really wanted to see :( With returns from all your favourite characters because of the very messed up Fast and Furious Movies release dates .

The only real niggle I had with the movie, well there was two . .

Firstly, why, the hell, was The Rock, *ALWAYS* dripping wet . . > . >
Secondly, If it's street racing, in Mexico, based before the release of Tokyo Drift, why were there cars only released within the past year or two . . Ie, Lexus 2012 LFA (Still a concept in FF) and the Nissan GTR :/ I know I'm being picky, but comon, people out there love cars, and based on the Storyline, this was set around 5 years ago > . >

Anywho, Brilliant movie to watch if you're not being plain picky (For the first time, since the original Harry Potter movie I didn't feel like I had just wasted my money going)

9/10 :D

retired Extremely Dangerous, good action movie storyline so so but one Awesome scene with Helen Mirren a car-park and a damn great machine gun. That one scene alone makes the movie and my Uncle Bruce as the main star
