1214183 2011-07-02 08:53:00 I saw tonight on TV1 News that another WHAKA has paddled into history up the River Thames in Great Britain.

Anyone care to guess what that cost the Taxpayer?

I also noticed it was "skippered" by a chap covered in scribble by the name of Harawira.

Now that name rings a bell?

I also notice there was the traditional “Kapa Haka Party” to slap their thighs, pull faces and to try and convey to the rest of the world how uncivilised NZ is.

Now, the country is in deep financial poo, but we have our intrepid leader taking photo opportunities in front of the Taj Mahal, and a bunch of would be natives embarrassing us in England, with both events costing us taxpayers plenty.

When will this crap end?

Have a nice day.

Nothing wrong with promoting the heritage of this country or building relationships with super powers.....

Not uncivilized Kapa Haka, nor are Maori - which you seem to suggest. Haka been around longer than you. Will always exist as it always has.

But it's about NZ not just families. I assume your family has a good relationship with maori if they been here a long time?

Are you thinking in terms of forming a sea based military alliance?

England no longer have an aircraft carrier, so perhaps a fleet of wakas could compensate!

Hence I said the heritage of this country, and not your family which makes up a tiny tiny tiny insignificant portion in time, history and culture.

Perhaps you could swim up the Thames in your togs, show off your pasty white skin and eat an almost warm pie out of a plastic bag.

:D

It's no surprise to me that you used Whaka rather than Waka either for that matter. :(
