1216488 2011-07-12 22:26:00 Hi

Back before Christmas I came across a "Free" (Silver) version of Magix Movie Maker, downloaded it, played wit it, and as a result ended up buying the full version.

Here is their Silver version version of a sound mixing studio. As you'll see from the blurb it's a stripped down version, but should give those interested a taste for what's available.

I haven't tried it yet 'cos I'm coming up to the end of my monthly data cap, but since the offer runs ti'l the end of July I'll probably give it a whirl. And, no, I haven't got any idea how it compares with Audacity, so any feedback would be useful.

1216492 2011-07-13 04:17:00 I have used this software. Magix music maker is basically a multitrack sample arranger. What it does it does well although you need a large pool of samples to avoid songs sounding very same-ish. I think if you like this software you would love something like fruity loops which has the added bonus of vst, vsti and dx plugins, which allow for a far wider range of scope and individuality when creating digital music.
