Q6. can I use my current UHF aerial?

A6. yes, it may need to be pointed to another direction, but should work fine.

...

This is misleading. People might assume because they have a UHF aerial that they can use it to receive freeview, where this might not be the case.

1216214 2011-08-01 09:32:00 Yup, if you're within range of the transmitter, or even in an HD area. That's why I said 'people might assume'. pine-o-cleen (2955)

Why is it misleading as a UHF aerial is a UHF aerial and will only need to be pointed at the transmitter to work.

Try that in East Cape, or most of NZ for that matter. The coverage for HD is not particularly wide, geographically speaking.

If any one doesn't know that by now they must have their head in the sand. Or elsewhere.:D
