The fact the cops went beyond to make and example of a disabled person is what get up my nose the most, and if i didnt have a disabled child i probably wouldn't give a ****

How do you know his isn't mild? And that he isn't just playing it up to get out of being found guilty?

1216062 2011-07-13 00:45:00 Exactly, it's more the fact he's appealing like a whiney little b****, and saying he has some condition so set him free. If he had a doctors note or medical proof that his condition caused him to act like that, yeah, instead of getting fined/jailed, send him somewhere to help him deal with his condition better, to stop getting in trouble again. But until then, I'm sticking to my side, the fact he's trying to use a condition to get out of doing time because he got caught. Empathy. (16382)

At the moment, it's like one of those names, how people who're like 7ft tall, are called "Tiny."

I'm just sick, and tired, of current day society, and there means to find excuses for absolutely anything to get out of it. It's a load of s*** how obxonious and ignorant people can be. Because of this man, and his complaining and whinging about how his apparent condition should get him out of the crime, he conciously committed, people, who're actually affected by the disease will now get a bad rep too, and possibly discriminated against because of it.

It makes me sick, to think (assuming he's lying of course) that people like this, and the many million other examples of people like that, share the same race as me.

1216065 2011-07-13 01:31:00 If the person is not the full quid, walks past and picks up some rubbish, there should be no consideration of court, just a good talking to.

It happend to me when I was about 12, frightened the life out of me.

That was when common sense prevailed, also b4 OSH, that stupid bloody lot,

1216066 2011-07-13 01:45:00 Likely outcome here if he is found guilty (and that is looking far from straight forward at the moment)

1. Discharge without conviction
2. Conviction and Discharge
3. Supervision (Probation)
4. Fine

I'll pick Discharge without conviction on payment of Court Costs, but depending on the facts presented, might end up as six months Supervision.

Cost of case will no doubt run into thousands of dollars by the time you tally up Police and Court time.

1216067 2011-07-13 02:39:00 I am picking that this person is claiming mitigating circumstances which he is entitled to do. The Judge should consider these circumstances before passing judgement and sentence. Bobh (5192)

Right, Now we have a confirmed you're not the thiefs doctor nor do you have capability to diagnose his condition:rolleyes: , do you let your child use their disability as an excuse for criminal behaviour?

Anti-social behavior?

Unfortunately times have changed. When you were a 12 year old, a talking to would be effective and end of story. Youngsters did have respect for the Police.

Todays youngsters would more than likely think that they were hard done by by being told off. They would be rude to the Police and in turn would react as though the Police had no right to speak to them in that way.
