1215935 2011-07-11 01:40:00 Banks and airlines and amongst others have honoured it. At least DSE could of gave customers a wee discount or a little gift due to their own IT issues. :groan: Nomad (952)
1215936 2011-07-11 01:42:00 The one thing I've wondered about that ad is why people are queuing up for money when everything is free. :p

National Bank have honoured it and chosen not to pursue them (which they are legally entitled to).

I would have thought they may have given a percentage off voucher or something, just for goodwill.

1215940 2011-07-11 06:23:00 When I brought an xbox 360 back in 07 or 08 the box said is came with a free game (NFS MW from memory) unfortunately when we went to buy it the sales rep said the promotion had "expired"... since there was no expiry date on the sticker, and they couldn't find any proof that the promotion cloud actually expire my dad managed to wheedle the game out one of the tightest salesman ass I ever met :D

Win!

Too bad DSE wouldn't honor the site, that would be a good promotion. For 10 mins, everything free or something like that

This has happened. Their call centre has contacted customers who bought items on line for $0. They have the option to either cancel their order or opt for a 10% discount.

Read about it here (www.stuff.co.nz).
