| 1216522 | 2011-07-13 01:22:00 | wondering about how to gather info and promote a brand better. it is a well known brand, solid and reliable, used in many countries and often blogged and commented on in forums. But i want to find when it is mentioned and act on it better. ???? i am not sure where to begin. we are really only just now getting into promotion on the net. i recognise that some firms are way better at getting info out there. i would like to find some search engine that will bring up evverything not just ourselves and our distributors. ??? have built a new website. and are on facebook and are doing a couple of video's for youtube. but feel there should be more on a more personal level. ideas for attracting likes on facebook would help too??? i am sure we can do better out there but not real sure where to start. does anyone know of any reading material? search engines? whizzie program ?? that might help me. or advise me from there own experience.? |

Can filter with a alerts grader (www.searchenginejournal.com) or use an online alternative. Unfortunately tons of junk/spam will arrive if not filtered. Also write articles about the brand, with links in the article (max of 3 I think) and in your bio. I use Goarticles and Ezine Articles. Many spin their articles on other directories, for maximum reach, and traffic. Participate in forums that are relevant. Do SEO on your site (Google's SEO guide (static.googleusercontent.com)), including back link strategies, e.g. guest post on relevant and complimentary, related industry sites/blogs. Off course social media interaction. Use the powerful Google Analytics to track tons of metrics, including conversion funnels, goals, and now can further segment and customize. You should start by following/subscribing to brand/conversion authoritative sites/blogs, including from experienced online brand/conversion/landing page marketers. Examples are search engine land (read/follow relevant authors, e.g. branding on facebook (searchengineland.com), Search branding (searchengineland.com), etc), Viper Chill, Smart Passive Income, Ries' Pieces (http://ries.typepad.com/) (branding), and others. Tons of reading though. Though that's for slowly building up organic rankings, trust and authority. The other way and for instant results is PPC, e.g. Google Adwords, to get instant traffic from search and content platform (adsense) over millions of sites. But it costs, and you have to build several targeted keyword campaigns sometimes. Works - but cost money, but drops if you build up good quality score. Or pay a company to initially do it. Search engines for everything? Try metric clustered/cloud/visual and pdf research engines like Deeper Web (www.deeperweb.com/), Quintera, Yippy, Keyword Eye, Primal, Zanran (data metrics) and blekko (based on slash tag preferences to create own engines; Reviewed here) (http:). |

So it's already known. people are already discussing it. Google brings up almost everything, usually the company stuff first but it will have references to all the rest too. |

Can download as PDF, and more detailed articles will follow. He also has a very popular and great keyword research guide which is free to download from his site (www.polepositionmarketing.com). | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||
