| 1243790 | 2011-11-15 21:43:00 | Hi Everyone, We have a 300 workstation network consisting of mixture of Thinclients (HP Linux T5135's, '45s and '25s, Win7 Netbooks, XP and Vista Desktops. Is there a way to send a break message to all these clients without having to install or enable something and from a command line? If you can provide an example on how this can be used that would be grand. Many thanks, @ |

The thin clients, being Linux based, will need a different solution - this will depend on the software environment installed, there is no standard utility that's guaranteed to be there. |

The documentation for these commands explains how to use them. Can it be used with Client IP addresses as well as host names?Yes - you can use either the target computers's hostname or its IP address. |
