1217744 2011-07-21 00:35:00 Battery life would be the reason . Battery life is bad enough with wireless, 3g and all the other bells & whistles on .

I don't really miss flash websites . Anyone who has a flash only site should be shot .
As for pizza, use your iphone as an actual phone and dial them up . Crazy, I know .

Ah right, so instead of offering the users the choice to view the flash site/application and chew through their battery, they decided instead to just flat out refuse them that option .

Nice! :badpc:

Oh wait, no, not cool at all . Arrogant pricks .
How about *shock horror* leaving that option to the user?
Who knows, the user might actually decide its worth draining 2% of their battery to order a pizza online, as opposed to spending 5+ minutes on a phone call, wasting calling minutes, giving away credit card details to all within airshot, and in the process probably using more than 2% of your battery power anyway!

Crazy huh?

Infact I propose an experiment .

Prior to running the following two tests, make sure your write down your battery % before and after each test is complete .

First Test
Call a pizza outlet, make an order of 2 pizzas, a side, and a drink, pay using credit card, and make sure its delivery .

Second Test
Using a computer, make the exact same order, but record the time it took you to place the order . Now fire up the most battery intensive application (the flashlight app sounds good) your phone supports for the exact same period it took to order online via your pc .

Compare the battery % of each test and see which used the most .

Edit: to clarify, I have no idea what the results will be, just curious . . .

1217745 2011-07-21 01:08:00 Hells site works perfectly on my iPhone and domino's have an app.

But being ordered on an iPhone, it just wouldn't taste as good as if I had ordered it from an Android device. Arh well, the sacrifices we make.

Eh.. they must've updated their site or something since I last tried ordering Hells then, didn't used to work.

Dominos :yuck:
I don't really want to have to download an app just to order a pizza, should be able to go to the site.

Yea ordering via the iPhone adds a certain fruity wanky taste to it, best to avoid when possible.
