Youtube works through the utterly pointless apple interface, and there are bazillions of games available through the app store, making the entire "no flash bonus" more then slightly stupid. Its all much the same there are just retarded hoops to jump through. |

The developer of that swf just has to do so. I think theres also a jailbreak app called like frash iirc which will play flash content. I think apple chose to back html 5 instead of flash. |

(I have no idea if this is correct, please correct me if I'm wrong) Whether you blame this on flash or apple is your choice, but other mobile devices seem to handle flash fine :) No support for flash is probably the #1 reason I hate my iphone (hey I didn't buy it, its a work phone). On my way home from work, go to order a pizza to arrive roughly the same time I get home? Not a chance, all the good pizza websites in NZ are flash driven. |

Battery life would be the reason. Battery life is bad enough with wireless, 3g and all the other bells & whistles on. I don't really miss flash websites. Anyone who has a flash only site should be shot. As for pizza, use your iphone as an actual phone and dial them up. Crazy, I know. |

If you want Auckland press 1, if you want Chinatown press 666 . . . (its usually about 3 weeks later they finally get to your area after jumping through 17 different colored hoops half of which are on fire, by this time the police have found your body and determined the cause of death was starvation) Don't you just love reading your credit card number out loud where other people can hear you? This is even more awesome when they can't hear you well and you have to repeat very loudly the details again . . . just incase that guy behind you didn't quite write it down correctly the first time . Which is another side note, the iphone is bloody quiet, almost have to yell into it for people to hear me . If its noisy, well good luck in getting your order correct . 2 - Not all food outlets have an 0800 number, so I waste calling minutes . 3 - And finally, which is the main point, I have a smart phone (its actually pretty ****ing retarded tbh) it has a web browser, it is connected to the internet, yet I can't browse a website because some ****ing morons (apple) decided not to support an extremely common technology . Ordering pizza online is the ace . Couldn't agree more . Its quick, simple and they get your order correct . No more yelling down the phone because the guy on the other end can't hear you . |
