| 1217001 | 2011-07-18 00:11:00 | Haven't you people heard? ASB now has a real life branch on Facebook! You can do all your banking there! Now if only I can find out how to make my floppy drive accept my money so I can deposit it.... OH WAIT, THAT DOESN'T ACTUALLY WORK. What the f**k is the point of a virtual bank on Farcebook? It sounds like Internet banking with the added option of plastering your bank balance all over the internet. |

But I imagine that personal banking details are not exposed to all and sundry... Wonder how good ASB's security is on Farcebook, given Mr Zuckerburg's general disdain for his customers' privacy? |

| 1217003 | 2011-07-18 01:12:00 | Bit late here, but I'm with ASB, always have been, and while I've never put cash into an ATM to be banked, I have done it frequently with cheques and it's always been quick and correct. Thinking about it, I wouldn't feel very comfortable depositing cash in an ATM, mostly for the reasons that you've obviously found out here. :( |

| 1217004 | 2011-07-18 01:31:00 | I really want to know how a $100 note changed into 2 x $50 notes...! That's a cool trick, and while people do make counting errors, there is no way you can mistake a $50 for a $100.....I think! | SolMiester (139) | ||

I have never even tried to put cash into an ATM never even new you could!!!!! If it's the same everywhere, the ATM spits out an envelope and you fill with cash (no coins) and enter the deposit amount into the machine which then prints you a receipt. Of course, the deposit isn't cleared until the funds have been counted and stolen by the bank or their representatives. |
