| 1217588 | 2011-07-19 08:10:00 | @ Melta, a car is an idea. If every car just looked like a ford with a new badge strapped to the front, ford would have grounds to sue whoever did this. However cars aren't like that. Your example is like saying nokia (or whoever made the first cellphone idk who that was) can sue anyone else who ever makes a phone, which is utter bs. SORRY IF THAT WASN'T CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU. Happy? . I have been happy since I destroyed your absurd position earlier. Shame the Ford analogy went straight over your head, The point wasn't that Henry Ford could have patented the concept of a motor car, But that after making his money from selling his product to the masses he could have then claimed the rights to the technology that made it possible, not because he invented it but because he could afford paying lawyers to kneecap the competition. If you wanted an example using Nokia it would be like them claiming the keypad as their own just because they could afford the court battle. If you want more examples that aren't insane (unlike your entire contribution to this thread) just let me know. |

| 1217592 | 2011-07-19 22:03:00 | Microsoft are scum just like Apple. Its a shame these companies can't just let success depend on the quality and value of their products, instead they have to screw over the entire industry and screw over the consumers, who after all foot the entire bill for the billions spent on legal action. A hex on them all, And someone rouse Steve twatface from his sickbed and give him a punch in the swede. Word perfect! |

| 1217595 | 2011-07-20 01:15:00 | <snip>However Andriod is starting to look far to ios imo . </snip> I think you have that backwards - Android (please note the spelling) has many features that iOS does not, and the link to Chill's blog/article, below, identifies this quite clearly . iOS is now trying to incorporate AndroidOS features . No doubt they will do this very well from an aesthetic point of view, but because Android is open-source, it is probably unlikely that anyone will be able to sue Apple for copying these features . More's the pity . Apple are starting to look like they need some karma-medicine . . . . . c2s . co . nz/blog/picking-apart-whats-new-in-ios5/" target="_blank">www . c2s . co . nz |
