Fairgo or Target might get you some quicker action also.
Good Luck.
Target is a complete waste of time and an absolutely crappy program.

1217083 2011-08-02 06:22:00 So finally Branch manager comes back from holiday and rings me.
Long discussion, I did tell her her Customer care Manager down there was very good (in fact the only one who was), the whoever manager wasn't.

She went through some stuff and although they still doubt it they will
A)Write to me
B)Refund me

pctech, if their letter is still on the negative side, then write back and tell them you are closing your account and going to TSB or SBS, these people would welcome your business.

But you think Fairgo is good?

They essentially do the same thing. Get an end result for someone over a dispute. Except Target has a bunch of other stuff on it as well.

Sigh. Move the accounts, set up eftpos cards, move visa, setup auto payments etc again, move the mortgage. Done it before but nah, they have to do more than one thing before I do.

It's fair. I can't prove it, they can't prove it. They did apologise for the time and not especially interested response from some of them, and they could have just said you get nothing. So no, it's fair.

Yes I do pursue stuff but I'm not unreasonable either.

End of story I think.
Could be worse.

They are completely different.
Fair Go has done a lot of good in its time. Target has done sod all and that guy is not always correct in what he says.

Coming from an accounting background I have never used the "hole-in-the-wall"; have always dealt over the counter, whether it's around the corner or needing to do it quickly.

This way there is always a paper trail.

Hard earned money whether the firms' or mine needs to handled with care.

As Mr Latta would say " good luck, you are going need it".

Target seems to be able to do it without being assaulted.
